This charming pitcher is signed in facsimile by its designer, Christopher Dresser, and also bears the initials “H.T.” for Henry Tooth, the talented manager of the Linthorpe Pottery.
Earthenware with painted and glazed white floral decoration. The exterior having a speckled yellow background and the interior with a brown glaze.
Restored top rim and wear to glaze at base.
Impressed marks “Linthorpe” and facsimile signature “Chr Dresser”, shape “668” and manufacturer’s monogram “HT”.
